1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using TrueRent, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree with any of these terms, you are prohibited from using or accessing this service.

2. Use License

Permission is granted to temporarily use TrueRent for personal and commercial purposes. This is the grant of a license, not a transfer of title, and under this license you may not:

• Modify or copy the materials
• Use the materials for any commercial purpose without explicit permission
• Attempt to reverse engineer any software contained in TrueRent
• Remove any copyright or other proprietary notations from the materials

3. Subscription and Payment

TrueRent offers subscription-based services. By subscribing, you agree to pay the fees associated with your chosen plan. All subscriptions include a 60-day free trial period. You may cancel your subscription at any time. Payments are processed through our third-party payment processor, Stripe.

Billing: Subscriptions are billed monthly or annually based on your selected plan. All fees are charged in advance for the billing period. You authorize us to charge your payment method for all applicable fees.

Free Trial: The 60-day free trial begins when you first subscribe to a paid plan. During the trial period, you have full access to all features of your selected plan. If you cancel before the trial ends, you will not be charged. After the trial period, your subscription will automatically convert to a paid subscription unless cancelled.

Refunds: Refunds are provided at our sole discretion. If you cancel your subscription, you will continue to have access to the service until the end of your current billing period. No refunds will be provided for partial billing periods.

Price Changes: We reserve the right to modify subscription fees at any time. We will provide at least 30 days notice of any price changes. If you do not agree to the new pricing, you may cancel your subscription before the change takes effect.

4. User Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

Account Requirements: To use TrueRent, you must be at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into binding agreements. You must provide accurate, current, and complete information when creating your account.

Account Security: You are solely responsible for maintaining the security of your account. You must not share your account credentials with any third party. We are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to maintain account security.

Account Termination: We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms, fraudulent activity, or any other reason we deem necessary to protect our service and users.

5. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to use TrueRent in any way that:

• Violates any applicable law or regulation
• Infringes upon the rights of others, including intellectual property rights
• Is fraudulent, deceptive, or misleading
• Transmits viruses, malware, or other harmful code
• Attempts to gain unauthorized access to our systems or other users' accounts
• Interferes with or disrupts the service or servers
• Uses automated systems to access the service without permission
• Collects or harvests information about other users
• Impersonates any person or entity

Violation of these prohibitions may result in immediate termination of your account and legal action.

6. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of TrueRent, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, icons, images, audio clips, digital downloads, and software, are the exclusive property of TrueRent or its content suppliers and are protected by United States and international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws.

Your Content: You retain ownership of any content you submit, post, or display on TrueRent. By submitting content, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, translate, and distribute your content for the purpose of operating and promoting our service.

Trademarks: TrueRent, the TrueRent logo, and all related names, logos, product and service names, designs, and slogans are trademarks of TrueRent or its affiliates. You must not use such marks without our prior written permission.

7. Data and Privacy

Your use of TrueRent is also governed by our Privacy Policy. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand our practices regarding the collection and use of your data. By using TrueRent, you consent to the collection and use of your information as described in our Privacy Policy.

8. Disclaimers

Service Availability: TrueRent is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time.

Rental Estimates: All rental estimates provided by TrueRent are estimates based on available data and algorithms. These estimates are for informational purposes only and should not be considered as professional financial or legal advice. Actual rental values may vary significantly based on numerous factors not accounted for in our estimates.

Third-Party Content: TrueRent may contain links to third-party websites or services. We are not responsible for the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party sites. Your interactions with third-party services are solely between you and the third party.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, TrueRent, its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from your use of or inability to use the service.

Our total liability to you for all claims arising out of or relating to the use of TrueRent shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim, or one hundred dollars ($100), whichever is greater.

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitations may not apply to you.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless TrueRent, its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, damages, obligations, losses, liabilities, costs, or debt, and expenses (including but not limited to attorney's fees) arising from your use of the service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of another party.

11. Termination

You may terminate your account at any time by cancelling your subscription through your account settings or by contacting us. Upon termination, your right to use the service will immediately cease.

We may terminate or suspend your account immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including if you breach these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the service will immediately cease.

All provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination shall survive termination, including ownership provisions, warranty disclaimers, indemnity, and limitations of liability.

12. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

Governing Law: These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Dispute Resolution: Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or the service shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association. The arbitration shall take place in San Francisco, California.

Class Action Waiver: You agree that any dispute resolution proceedings will be conducted only on an individual basis and not in a class, consolidated, or representative action.

13. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the new Terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of TrueRent after any such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms. If you do not agree to the modified Terms, you must stop using the service.

14. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary so that these Terms shall otherwise remain in full force and effect and enforceable.

15. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and TrueRent regarding the use of the service and supersede all prior or contemporaneous communications, proposals, and agreements between you and TrueRent.
